1) Must be a non-fiction book on a scientific subject. For the purposes of this blog, scientific includes physical, biological, and computational sciences. Texts that are primarily based in another field, with some overlap will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Books can only be reviewed if a reviewer with an appropriate level of foreknowledge can be found. For this reason, the most likely textbooks to be considered are, in descending order:
- Physics / Mathematics
- Computer Programming (Particularly Java, or introductory Texts)
- Computer Science
- Chemistry
2) The Publisher (Or someone else) must be willing to send a hard copy to the United Kingdo.
